Aloe vera, aloe vera gel

Aloe vera helps to reduce acne and blemishes on the skin. It also soothes the skin, reduces tanning and stretch marks on regular application. It conditions hair and reduces itchiness in the scalp. The gel can be directly extracted from the leaf of the plant by peeling off the outer layer and used as is. Alternatively, you can make a pack of aloe gel, olive oil and oatmeal.

Dry skin and itchy body skin

Give yourself a t thorough body massage with olive, coconut or mustard oil at least once a week. Keep the oil on for at least a couple of hours before washing off with tepid water and a mild soap. Avoid hot bath or shower however tempting this is in the cold. Use body temperature water, use glycerine soaps or bath bars which contain beauty oils and no harsh chemicals. It is a good idea not to use soap at all, except on certain grime-attracting sections of your body skin wash, on damp skin.
